One way of addressing that is proportional representation. In the country I live in, we have a form of that, & we operate within the Westminster system. To this day, our head of State is the King of England. Weirdly enough, we’ve ended up with a superior and more robust
democracy than the US.

I’m from NZ. Tissue samples were not sent here. I don’t know if Samoa has their own viral pathologist either. But the medical officers there knew it was measles. Blood was sent to NZ to confirm the strain www.rnz.co.nz/news/world/5...

Tissue samples were not sent to New Zealand. There was no need to. They have their own doctors. There was only one post mortem and for the rest of the deaths it was obvious they’d died from measles.
