Well, I'm still awaiting results (and a bill) from an echocardiogram the cardiologist wanted to see before he would clear me for surgery. Sigh. Is this ever going to happen? I'm starting to lose hope.

No kidding. I worked for a big retailer who said we couldn't afford to hire enough people to run that location and couldn't afford to pay anyone much more than minimum wage but then gave a $280M severance package to the former GE CEO they strongly encouraged to resign.
