Visited an elementary school to talk about my life as a writer.
Me: Does anyone want to be an author or illustrator when they grow up?
Them: No we all want to be YouTubers.

I feel a kinship with high school seniors right now. They just applied to schools with 5% acceptance rates and I'm here pitching agents with 0.8% request rates. Good luck to all the dreamers out there!
