Depends on who their target audience and what their goal is. If it’s to create community make leftists feel less alone then yeah, their tactic is fine. If they want to attract new community members, might be a good idea to change the wording.

When I googled it the first article I clicked on talked about how Democrats take money from people like Bill Gates through Super PACs and dark money groups. Like, if AOC assumes people know these terms and people have to google them and these are the results, I don’t think that was the intent.

It’s one of my gripes with lefist people is they use words and terms like oligarchy and assume everyone understands what that means from context.
