I disagree. It’s not always about appearances. It could be about what’s in their grocery cart, what book they’re buying, it could literally be a positive word about anything. Don’t limit your kind words, spread ‘em around freely 😁

Exactly! A kind word costs nothing and may be the only kindness that person hears that day. I’m sure it’s easier for us women to do this without freaking out the recipient, so I do this at every opportunity. My sons do this too, but are careful to do so with discretion.

We spent much time in Bellingham in the past. Sorry, but we will probably never cross that border again. Knowing only <1/3 of you voted for sanity speaks volumes. Add in the infuriating vitriol from your federal government and Canadians on the whole are done with the US #elbowsup-wayup

I wish it was the majority, that would be less abhorrent to my Canadian self. It’s more like <1/3 (voted for the sane smart woman), the rest either voted for the orange shitstain or didn’t bother to vote. The US is no longer our ally and it will take generations for that relationship to be rebuilt
