No, it was not that clean. He was not that clean. He would do the job because it needed to be done, and he could do it. And Miraya’s ghost would still haunt his sleep.

Just my #protagonist, being #emo. Like always.

Oh hey, the desert mage story is over 50k. The mage is now on a boat, leaving the desert. He'll be back, he just doesn't know it yet. Probably best not to tell him, or he might keep running.

“You’ve said patience is important. How long do you think you can wait for this offense to gel?”

It seemed a safe enough question, so he gave what he thought would be a safe enough answer. “You can’t wait forever,” he said. “The league doesn’t give you that luxury.”

Zoom call with possible cover designer on Monday. I think I know what I'll do for the acknowledgement and dedication pages.

Not-Mike is totally not getting attention.

Desert mage continues to fall apart. Good times.

Hoping to schedule a Zoom meeting with a cover designer for "Delay of Game."

47k words on the desert mage story. They're back at the capital. Tevyal is physical wrecked. Kind of his thing.

7.7k words on not-Mike. That I am totally not still working on because I should focus.

“And, tell me if you get worse, okay? Don’t tough it out.”

“I have to be honest about my symptoms if I want to get better,” I tell her.

Don't tell anybody I'm #writing about not-Mike. I'm not supposed to be working on his story yet.

Reached out to several artists about getting a cover made for "Delay of Game." Heard back from one already. We'll see what happens by tomorrow, I guess. Getting excited!

And the desert mage story is over 45k, and my mom seems more into it than the football-playing half-elf story for some reason...

Last night and today, I have learned the "joys" of going from #EPUB to PDF via Microsoft Word. "Delay of Game" is one step closer to being unleashed upon an unsuspecting populace!
