The #mural is finished! Based on #britto and brainstormed ideas with 18-21 year old students in a special life skills type class entitled #edventure,#lesterbepearsonschoolboard with #elanarted and #artistinspiregrants and designed by me. 22 feet long by 8 feet high.

Here’s some close-ups of my painting of Lisa Mintz urban nature advocate. Director of #urbannatureeducation in #Montreal. She really loves #ChimneySwifts so these were included (threatened species). Entirely #embroidered freehand. They are each about 6 inches.

Today I had an “artist day” at the school where I’ve been working with the kids on a mural. I talk to them about my own work, showed them some paintings and then did a demo, and this was the little thing I did for them. #greathornedowl (white morph) #acrylic #artistinspiregrants
