I was just telling some friends this exact thing. I lived in Chicago briefly, and remember the first day my family was driving along Lakeshore Drive, commenting on how much more the lake looked like the ocean than a lake. It was summer, and people were laying in the sun. It was pretty cool.

Im so sorry about Sammy and I agree about this year its been horrific for me too between losing my sweet kitty Agave which immediately followed my breast cancer diagnosis and a few other events . I send hugs and love and say good riddance to 2024. ❤️

Im so sorry just went through this in October ironically just after my breast cancer diagnosis when my world was falling apart. Its so hard to let them go. I send love and hugs.
