I saw a post from “the greatest CEO” that we couldn’t exist without them. My worst fear as a supervisor was leaving a mess behind for my staff, as they were the ones who make everything happen. I’m happy to say that they have carried on very without me. Boots on the ground folks make or break IT!

A friend sent me a poem about how hard it is to pray for our enemies. My stylist voted for our upcoming administration. I’ve thought about dropping her but I still see her as a child of God. I’m struggling.

My first post—I retired six months ago after 30 plus years in public health. Before I left, I worked with an organization to start a food pantry in their small neighborhood. They estimated 50 families a month. They serve over 120. Food is a right, not a privilege.
