We KNOW it doesn’t work for you. That is plain. You might be missing the point, which is who gives a shit if it “works” for you? Your babble doesn’t “work” for us. Anyone thinking that women insisting on equal consideration means shitting on men helps explain the problem Hogg feels he’s identified.

You’re going off point. I didn’t say those things don’t apply to men as well, and I didn’t say they should be shut out. I said I prioritize those values over optics. Also, fairness, justice and compassion have nothing to do with helping them get laid, in case that needed to be clarified.

It’s awful. I think it was getting better though, and that’s why we’re seeing backlash now. It’s increasingly hard for men to compete with women professionally, and it also seems (based on some of the whining here) that some men aren’t finding it as easy to attract women.

Nope, not the point at all. When he’s thinking about “people” he’s thinking about “men,” clearly not about what women want. His thinking about women was only as objects of desire. That’s hardly just semantics and I could argue that such feeble reductionism makes “us” look like dumbasses.

Uh huh. He said we need to cater to their needs to “get laid.” He actually said “people’s needs,” which assumes that people are only men. And no, the women who voted for Trump didn’t do do because they felt Dems forgot them. They did so because they rated loyalty to Trump dudes as more valuable.
