Silence is usually what CBSA offers on behalf of their officer decisions. Very glad no elected official was involved. We have too much partisan hatred developing here in Canada, democracies need people to run for elections.

Not saying that they’re not accountable. Just that it wasn’t them making a decision at the border. They didn’t pass legislation about secondary inspections for 95 year olds, that was 1 officer’s decision.

Canadian elected representatives do not make decisions or get involved at the Canadian border. CBSA officers make those decisions.

This is not true. We have had excellent conservative politicians in the past and hopefully again in the future. This type of language that vilifies and dehumanizes is an import from the USA and is toxic. Blocking from now on.

As a participant in that study, I represent that, except for the rich part! Also have discussed with them how many of my wealthy(not ‘rich’), married, not obese friends are also participating. Supposedly randomly selected but I’m guessing we were more likely to agree. It’s fun to participate.
