Wake up people - if you're a POC, woman, LGBTQ, disabled, etc - basically anything other than a white straight male, or someone he's hired or likes - trump's "common sense" tells him you are unqualified to do your job.

No offense, but this didn't sound right, so I double checked. It appears that they definitely aren't allowed to serve in Congress if they have a Federal contract.

Finding mixed info on this - some info showing it's wildlife bill - other info. doesn't mention IVF, but mentions some protesting at least one thing jammed into it.
Bottom line, I'm sure they knew it would pass, but some cast a protest vote.

It appears they knew it would pass, but seems like they were casting protest votes to at least this part jammed in the bill, unsure if there were other disputes as well.

From quick look, at least one thing was disputed having to do with trans. I'm sure they knew it would pass, but wanted to cast a protest vote.

This is why he's got loyalists in this time. Esper said he actually wanted to "secretly" launch missiles into Mexico during his 1st presidency - seems he had level heads that convinced him against it. This time is going to be so much worse.
