We had a nice sunny day here on the coast of Oregon yesterday. Played some frisbee with Finnegan to cheer us up.

Finally had a little bit of sun in this rainy and wet PNW winter. Went to a local harbor and managed a nice photo of a White-winged Scoter eating a small crab. #birds

When it is a cool wet day in the PNW you resort to playing fetch inside. Got a decent shot of Finnegan coming up the stairs with his snake.

A couple of domestic ducks hanging out at one of the local parks. Just found out some birders call them “Mandy mallards” don’t know why or where that came from.

Went to one of the local parks yesterday that has a lake on it. Found my first ever Hooded Merganser, and even managed a picture.

The incline down is to sharp to walk the woods & creek behind my new house, we bought knowing that. This means I can hear a lot of birds, but not views or photos. When I do, I might post them here if there is enough interest, like there was on the X place. Anyway, got a Dark-eyed Junco yesterday.

Not the sharpest image, but was able to get a decent photo of a young Cedar Waxwing yesterday.
