I live near the Gifford fire. It’s a big fire, but not uncommon in CA for this time of year. Emergency response is doing an excellent job to keep everyone safe and get it under control.

Elements on most of these charges are same for misdemeanor vs felony. So no, there’s no liability risk for officers.
