I made a decision in my 40's that I would not go into retirement with a mortgage. Switched to a 15 year mortgage. Then sold that house and paid cash for a more appropriate sized house ten years before I retired. The best decision I ever made and I inspired a friend to do the same.

My husband just got his cola notice. After the increase in Medicare part B premiums he has an increase of $38. What do you want to bet the increase in his medigap policy costs more than$38? So he is already behind. Less money for food and other essentials.

I am concerned about the long term effects of this trauma on the health of today's children. The ACES scores are going to be so high.

My mostly white rural community absolutely is stepping up. Individuals and small businesses are increasing donations to local food banks. Some small restaurants are offering free hot soup. Grocery stores are saying that a donation of $x they will provide $2x to the food banks. And much more.

I just got my notice of change for my Part D coverage. Cost went from $35.90/month the $85.90/month. The cost of drugs has apparently dramatically increased.

Since American Eagle makes jeans in many colors and uses models of all colors to advertise them I would not have gone there from the ad. This all seems a bit ridiculous.
