NHS England guidance has instructed GPs to refuse any care that supports under 18s to receive gender affirming care like puberty blockers and hormones.

Base64 encoded strings sometimes (but not always) have a few equal signs at the end.
Why?
It’s an artifact of 6-bit encoding. When the input isn’t a multiple of three, padding is added as the “=“ character.
Unpadded strings are actually kinda dangerous.
