Saw this in NYC a couple days ago in the Village.

A lot of people can’t afford to live in the city and yes, have to drive to work. It’s either drive in or have an hour or two commute on various buses and trains to get from the outskirts.

I’m all for reducing cars on the road but the people who will be most impacted are those who can’t afford to lose $9. It’s sad that $9 matters so much these days but it does. Also, people who would otherwise drive into the city for recreation may just not come in - hence decreased revenue for shops.

I went to my favorite restaurant downtown in the village. I came in from Brooklyn on the train as always. Foot traffic in the area was nonexistent. My bartenders said they had to pay $9 in congestion pricing because they had to drive in from where they live. They said it’s been kind of dead there.

Many don’t vote in NY because of the electoral college. Many feel like our votes don’t matter (at least not in Presidential). Definitely not one person, one vote. NY always goes dem so many don’t feel they to HAVE to go vote for pres. I always vote, btw. A truly popular vote, you’d see more turnout.

I am married. Have been married forever. Talked about being married on stream. I have never been single while streaming so I don’t know what you mean. Enjoy your PS5.
