Totally interested, and want to know more…

I’m curious how horror melds with kaiju… something as large as a T-Rex I grok - there is still that running, hiding, and fear of being found.

Kaiju are 50+ feet tall or larger than a skyscraper… so I’m not even certain they can see me as more than an ant.

What would high school you say to older you about your success as an artist/creative today?

#Unity is probably trying to extract as much money as possible from their customers before their brand tanks. With UE taking the lead, and Godot on the rise - #Unity is scrambling to take as much money as possible before they collapse and are bought.

I can’t imagine choosing them for a game now.

I was pondering this - Strahd’s shtick is that he is eternally trapped in his domain reliving his failure to win love and inability to exercise his power to conquer or develop.

So I’m not sure there is much room for an heir… unless WotC mean to change the dark domains.

I couldn’t play any of the last three or four AC titles - they just didn’t grab me and I wasn’t enjoying the direction of the series.

This one looks pleasant enough for me to give it a go… and I appreciate some of the changes I hear this other studio decided to go with.

The lesser known fact is that a person’s libido drops dramatically as they exercise and improve their physical fitness to the levels Master Chief is at.

The irony was always that “peak physical fitness” and the “ideal masculinity” reduced your ability to procreate.

It seems to be genuine fans that are slowly becoming jaded and negative because they are impacted by the global changes.

They once viewed media as a “One day I might be able to do this!” form of entertainment.

Now they believe “I will never be able to do this…” and don’t recognize the change.

In Linus’s case it is a matter of “why are you posting about top end hardware no one can afford?!”

In the gaming/ttrpg scene it’s becoming more of a “why are you talking about games and events we will never be able to enjoy?”

Not necessarily your problem, but you end up easiest target for them.

Linus Tech Tips also did a stream where he discussed how doing the things he loves is receiving more negative reactions because of the current social/economical environment.

Not necessarily from haters, but from fans that may not be able to enjoy these things anymore… or at least for a while.

The first Fantasy Life I played on 3DS was a pretty great game! So pleasant and fun.

I saw a few reviewers have terrible performance and major game breaking crashes that cost them hours of play time…

It was then I knew we had another Fallout: New Vegas on our hands.

This quote continues to stick with me, despite developing a dislike for the author as I got older. Maybe as a warning to myself, or a reminder I should hold onto competing ideas and feelings whenever possible.

I want to believe we can be better, but I am forced to accept some don’t want to be.
