To-scale??? Did I read this right?

Yes

What keeps me away from AAA is how most are $200+ in my currency, how the never ending obssesion with having "the best graphics" also means they are designed to only run in the most expensive hardware commercially available, and most importantly how most of them are completely unoriginal

A plushie and a terrarium. I also usually put my working corner near a window so I can see the birds outside

"I like this" is actually a very good compliment

This is incredible. The two faced beast analogy always works so well to describe that feeling, being eternally held hostage and demanded to see it as mercy

Pitbulls are only a "dangerous breed" if you intend on mistreating them.
This is the same reason why so many small dogs are agressive, people with no respect of boundaries will raise them horribly and think the resulting agression is cute or funny, but are scared when a bigger dog does the same

No dog breed is inherently violent towards humans, and all dogs have the potential to be agressive when provoked. Pitbulls and such just happen to be very strong and heavy, so the consequences of mistreatment are greater. That profiling is uneducated at best and ill intentioned at worst

My entire adult life has been just fixing 18 years of all sorts of neglect lol

What a strange looking mop

Growing up, my mom used to tell me those things a lot, and then complained that I didn't do anything unless she asked me to. Turns out I actively avoided doing tasks because she would yell at me more for doing it than if I did nothing at all

Plus saying "it's no more than your obligation" or picking flaws at the good behaviour. It just signals that even if you do what they want they'll still be mad at you regardless

Not to mention the possibility of someone stealing your dog too.

I hate when people offleash their dogs in public because there is no circumstance where this is safe.
Even if your dog is hypothetically perfectly trained and has perfect recall, another dog or wild animal could still attack them, especially small dogs that can be easily dragged away

After changing search engines 3 times I eventually had to get a browser extension that blocks out AI results in image search, because it got to a point where whenever I went to look for art reference, the majority of the results were AI images. Shit sucks

As the saying goes, "if the creator didn't care enough to do their project themselves, then why should the audience care about it?"

Mine is a cardboard box where I play Russian roulette of not getting pricked by a stray pin every time I need to grab something

It's one thing for "kids nowadays" to be dependant of the internet because they never knew a world without it, but techbros' memory span being so short that they don't remember how we used to live a few moments ago is amusing
October 11, 2025 at 10:08 AM
It's so funny to see people trying to excuse their use of AI, "I NEED it" this, "I NEED it" that, like we haven't spent the past 30 thousand years without it just fine. How people manage to become cripplingly dependant on a technology that came out 2 years ago is beyond me
