I see a lot of people breaking down states' funding from federal programs vs. their contributions to the economy. What i don't hear about is how underserved urban centers and rural areas are compared to the typical suburb. Follow the money, find your enemies.

Insurance companies are just canceling policies in LA. They're doing it so much that legislators are trying to create a moratorium. The end result will certainly be massive lawsuits against these companies. Lawsuits which will probably cost less than rebuilding after the fire.

Trying to find a new job is tough right now, at least in my area. Staying at my current job would mean living paycheck to paycheck forever. I guess what I'm saying is that the American Dream is to find a decent living and you can't do that in America anymore.

The worst part about my restaurant career was the pay, the hours, the damage to my knees, back, and mental health. But the worst part of my tech career was dealing with people in tech.
