Well that is an extreme take on it but I'll respect your opinion, I do think it is the most common use for it nowadays

That just doesn't make sense. AI should be used as a tool for creators and that is just what Embark Studios has been doing, they were the pioneers of how a small team can create a AAA game with fewer resources on a smaller timeframe. Artists were employed and paid and the monetization is healthy

I think you are on the right track, I agree with you. But I see a lot of misleading information regarding Embark Studios.
They are not replacing artist integrity with AI like most AAA companies are, they actually employed and paid real VAs to train their model. It is completely different from my POV

I think you mean specifically when companies just "take" whatever they want to train their AIs. But, as far as I'm concerned, that is not the case for Embark Studios

They actually paid real VAs to train their AI, which is pretty cool.
