They are calling for a frost tonight & it seems likely that this time the city will be hit. So so I harvested the last of the veg & brought in what was drying.

I have a flock of hermit thrushes in my back yard, hopping around the raspberry cane, and eating wild grapes growing on my house. Here are 2 of the many. They have a much prettier colour than I could capture thru the door.

A very humid night left moisture on a metal shed. I think it looks like a curious fox. Then later, a llama with an ermine looking up at it.

We are having such a warm fall so far that a new plant & flower has just popped up in my yard. Spiderwort, an "early blooming" plant. Never had it before. Don't know how it got here!

I love seeing the backs of old garages. The house may be modernized, but garages used now as sheds, betray their age.

Every once in awhile I will get a Breakfast Burrito from McD's. From now on I will insist it is made fresh. How is this at all acceptable? It's ok for it to sit under the warming lights for 24 hours???? (and yes, it was stale when I got it 3 hours later)
