I think part of my obsessive news checking is a hope to see that Trump has killed over dead. Not that that end the nightmare but its a start.

I never thought I would live in fascist regime. That was stuff that happened elsewhere in history and other places in the world far away. How do we get out of this? It's like you can't wake up from the nightmare holding you hostage. Every minute is a new wild headline. Its all too much.

It breaks my heart that my son is graduating from high school into this dystopian nightmare. That is not what I wanted for him. It's not fair.

Tariffs are intended to protect American manufacturers from being undercut. But the industrial age in America passed and moved to China. It would take decades to rebuild. And US workers won't work for nothing. And US retailers don't want to lower their profits. Which is why they buy from China.

I hope our soliders are watching signal gate. And seeing that these "leaders" don't give a damn about them. They are just pawns in a game. Dispensible. And that when the time comes, and they are ordered to turn on the American people, they will turn on these leaders instead. I think they will.

The thing is even before Trump came back to office America wasn't great. It was functional. The elites still weirded all the power in Washington. But just did it with more decorum. Under Democratic president's of recent years we haven't eliminated poverty, ended homeless, hunger, Healthcare for all

I truly hope that this time in our history, no matter how ugly, is the stepping stone to a new & improved way of governing. Taking down established politicians on both sides who have oppressed & used people for their own benefit for far too long. Perhaps this was the inevitable to get to a new way.
