How has the jump from twitter to bsky been so far for you and the studio?

Don't expect it to be South of Midnight

Good and bad ideas are subjective...

Being serious: people naturalized it fast with other things. It's apparently getting more frustrating to sympathize with any creative process and artists on their respective medium. Still doesn't justify genAI being a resource hog and a direct weapon on purpose.

How did you react to this back in the day (assuming you watched TWD) ? xd
December 16, 2025 at 6:57 PM
Endnight innovating and working with everything they can that's been established in the previous 2 games, while Kirkman and Skybound reductively killed TWD in everything that could be explored or built upon. Invincible seems alright though.

Nice direction and displacement.

And absolutely mentioning Forest 3. I thought about it alongside a Outlast 3 out of pure fun. This feels so weird at least from a double A studio perspective; having relatively mid-sized worlds being expanded into full fledged franchises..

*around half a decade more. I wish these sites would just let you edit messages

Fallout 4 and Project Zomboid have been around for half an extra decade than RDR2. Not to take anything away from R* but the bar doesn't seem to be in place for anyone to rise it. I'm still seeing how only OUTLAST and Dying Light do some slight innovation around parkour and mobility in gaming only..

Upscaled it just to compress it. xD

I can at least assure this will be an amazing world building.

Nothing against the date (the ep) as I know this is for everyone to experience it together with the same quality and polish, but thank god the only console Blackfrost will see is the SteamOS.

And things like these can happen.

A comment of my own: It's interesting that that something like FNAF wouldn't be a part of this when Cawthon's history around his IP is troll-like and silly, while still keeping a form of integrity and base for worldbuilding and open stories. Dunno where borrowing and *sharing* go as a practice.

I mean it's better than an Unity build ported into an unofficial APK

harnessing something as destructive as the First Flare, from a supernatural source, and patenting it as a singularity from many). It's all built around survival and finding empathy in a world that almost spiraled into suicide, while good people still die or break down. It's a hope story in a way.

Another franchise that does the vulnerability fantasy aspect that well is Lobotomy Corporation's. You'd need a lot of time to check it properly, but it somewhat inverts TLD's 'loss of power' through mother nature with a grimdark, supernatural dystopia (think about baad actors actually ->

Mechanics per square kilometer are actually a thing now?
October 14, 2025 at 4:43 PM
At one point if you wanted to achieve complex game AI and pattern sets via a language model, assuming you grow enough as a studio to cost your own data center and agent training, you would consider it?

Project Zomboid is complex enough as a second life game to test things on it for example.

I'm thankful that Last of Us wasn't an example of a game franchise in the early 2000's. Gabe and Carmack set everything up to accomodate for the rest later.

I've seen something about installation size (and 'other' things adding to it) being proportionatal to pricing. Has someone talked in-depth about how explorable world size should be proportional to how much mechanics you'd need implemented for long term game/walk sessions?

I mean, you might still have time to apply for prime minister after episode 5.
