For me atleast it's the idea that I'm growing an investment and or something semi permanent its a do what I want when I want. My parents and their parents always owned homes so I guess its value I put above renting.

It's such a mixed bag man, cause congress does jack all while in session and it's good to have when a good president comes in. But the moment a bad one gets elected? Everyone gets hurt and congress is still acting like children.

My wife was found to have Familial adenomatous polyposis, if not for me and my "You should be bleeding while pooping" common sense she wouldn't have gotten it checked out. Her family swept it under the rug for years, and she would have been diagnosed with colon cancer and died.

Pt3: then they'll start spreading rumors that this other site or office is getting better stuff, or they'll cut parking and transport support, start sending out surveys to have people give opinions, and use that against them. So many more just to make their lives hell.

Pt2: then they start making it harder to reach goals by either moving the goal post or limiting resources, i.e., cutting back the amount of printers, limiting who can order supplies and giving them limited budgets. Start demanding time sheets for clocking in and out for lunch and no paid lunches.

Unfortunately, I've lived through this very tactic they are using one too many times. They are trying use corparate jargon to get people to quit rather than try to fire them. By making their work life harder to complete. First they limit holidays pt1

Which version did they test? Theirs about 6 versions at different levels of processing power. Just sounds like they nit picked the earlier versions to run a narrative.

Deleted Facebook months ago, and just deleted messenger. I can't in good conscious use metas platform unless I have to. I'm planning on building my extended family a messaging application for my home server so we can stop using WhatsApp.

I actually just started my first PFsense machine using a PC i built 8 years ago. Works just fine and on top of that I ran into issues outside the normal setup that forced me to expand my knowledge on it. I loved figuring it out.

Not that person yet but just setup a pfsense machine and was not prepared to figure out updating a driver was needed for my realtek nic 🤣 it's "pkg install realtek-re-kmod" fyi

I haven't bought a "AAA" game since boulders gate 3 and cult of the lamb, beyond that nothing had that spark of wonder or imagination. Indie devs games have filled my library with joy
