Chorionic villus sampling (CVS) through the abdominal wall during the first trimester. It was so painful I legitimately couldn’t believe that it was done without any sort of anesthesia, they literally strapped me to the table. “You’ll just feel a pinch”…yeah ok.

We did the Oregon coast (Astoria and Cannon Beach) from Seattle and it was beyond beautiful and a very cool trip! It’s a 3ish hour drive.
