I remember Tatiana's mother Caroline as a little girl. It breaks my heart that she is enduring another potential tragedy. The only good thing is that Caroline will do her best to ensure that Tatiana's children will store up memories of their mother.

Thanks for yoir kindness, Aaron. Sad, yes, but so proud of Canada's only team. Only citizen, due to birth in Montreal, is Vladdy. John Schneider is such a gracious, soulful Manager.

Hey, Rick, I drove to Stoke-on-Trent to try to replace one of my Mum's dinner plates. Discovered that the company had been bought out by Johnson Brothers. Wedgwood factory gave me a list of china finders, several in Canada, where my Mum's dinner service (Hollingshead & Kirkham) had been purchased!

Heartbreaking, Jen. The house I grew up in was given to a neighbour, who moved it into town. Later, every tree and shrub that had been planted and nurtured during 60 years was bulldozed to make way for a pivot irrigation system. There is not a trace of the farmstead left. Progress?

Love your work, Will. Could you ask the Inquirer's subscription dept to accept Canadian postal codes. My spouse is a US citizen. We live on the border in Metro Vancouver. Would live to keep reading your great work. Thanks. Linda

David, your Mom is/was a national treasure. I grew up watching her every night. Our generation of Canadians learned so much from her great work in journalism.
