There's a deep sense of sadness and loneliness seeing this record shattering graph.

November 17, 2023 was the first day in recorded history when the earth's surface was a whole 2°C hotter than pre-industrial times. Yet, there's barely any chatter about this staggering breach.

The world will eventually run out of fossil fuels, so our choice is really between stopping their use on our own terms now or being forced to find alternatives in the future while having a terrible climate, tens of millions of deaths from air pollution and climate disasters, higher sea level, etc.

Please hit me up with great environmental journalism accounts to follow. I live by the sea in Denmark with #PFAS polluting our nature and food. Currently thinking a great deal about whether to grow my own food which probably will be polluted by airborne PFAS from seaspray 🤷‍♀️
