So was the original plan kinda to have one shots of Nino doing Nino things to serve as ways of showing time passing while Lily based comics would advance the arc with Lyle. Just curious honestly. Also expediting the arc was probably a good call since people got so into the storyline.

As someone else said I like Lily still considered herself a mouse for introductions. Also the fact that Nino got Connie's name wrong makes me wonder if she expects them to pass. As much as she abused Lyle and tried to abuse Lily (at first) she never got their names wrong.

Kinda expecting Lyle to either finish resigning or to go work for the prince since the prince may have used him to sleep with Lily but also cared enough to make sure he was protected while Nino is the one who got him ate and Lily is the one who did it. I will be sad to see him go if he leaves tho.

I like that it's realizing he was the best part of doing her work, the princess was the reason but Lyle being there to help and talk after was what kept it enjoyable.

Agreed, I for one have completely forgotten about Lyle and look forward to watching Bonnie and Clyde... Connie and Hyde grow as characters over the rest of the comic. They have the appearance of mice that are going places. Very interesting places

Yeah that happens, I have had odd thoughts about all the things that could happen to Lyle depending on if he is Lilyfat or just stuck in the tummy and it's just living rent free in my head now.

Assuming Lyle is alive in there we are probably looking at at least a few days since Lily is starting to notice his absence more based on her comments.

What happened in this comic was what I figured could have been one of the things the last comic was going to be before I knew Lyle was the prey. Lovely work as always.
