As far as I'm aware the RCS features are for a better media experience when used between iPhones and Android devices. There's no E2E encryption there yet.

I think the kicker here is that we're not a democratic Republic anymore. If we were this couldn't have happened, but it did. Lots of people sold us out over many years to make this happen, but it's time to face face facts and not hide behind norms. The old world is gone now.
