That’s debatable, Linux yeah, but I think windows now a days has way too much overhead to work on older laptops.

Not a game developer, but I would think of just using Xbox as a base and then having like a translation layer between the icons for the controllers.
Though I wonder how it’d be like with trying to put switch controller icons, I feel like their 4 button icons would be too small.

Yeah, you're cooked trying to use office without the subscription model. Though what do you want to use office for? Cause I've been using ObsidianMD for my writing and note-taking for quite a while, and I've been genuinely really happy with it.

It says that it supports recording to a number of storage locations, their proprietary "CFAST" cards, an Blackmagic SSD rack called "MultiDock", or just directly to network attached storage.

Actually, from a quick google search I found from a forum that Blackmagic has something called [HyperDeck](www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/hyp...) that's meant for master recordings for broadcasts and live productions.
