@thedungeonrun.bsky.social was my introduction to actual plays and D&D in general. Campaign 1 was amazing. Campaign 2 was fantastic. Been kind of rocky the last year or so, but still worth checking out the older stuff.

They still don't exist. Still only one female NPC. They added a handful of new voices and faces to pick from. None of them women.

The callouts in game are nothing different that TTS alerts for streaming.

The actors that recorded the voicelines knew their voice would be used in the future as part of the contract and were paid for that work.

I play the alphabet game and usually pass out in the middle.

Basically, you think of words that start with the next letter of the alphabet in a given category. ex. Cities - Atlanta, Boston, Chaska, Detroit, etc. Just enough brainpower needed to not stress but not enough to keep you awake.💛

I mute every server I join, mute the @ everyone/here, as well as the role mentions if the server likes to give everyone a role, then ping that everyday to get around the everyone/here mute. So I only get pinged if someone tagged me specifically. I still check most of them daily. Just less pings.😆

I live in a 3rd floor apartment, so I have my heat set to 50F and have my windows slightly open all winter long. My apartment usually stays about 65F. If it gets colder, I just put on a hoodie. If it drops to 50F, my heat kicks in. For me, it's very comfortable.

As someone who is probably twice your age, you never do. It's always cringe. But, just embrace it because it's always a lot of fun!💛
