the Harper thing is click bait. Certainly mail delivery needs to stay in remote and northern areas. The rest of us in urban centres who are able can afford to lose it.

ya all need to look at the facts. Its an insolvent company. Mailmen are obsolete as are milkmen. Seniors and disabled will suffer for losing doorstep mail, and there are more cost effective and creative ways: CanPost has created 'Power boxes' where mail is delivered to one unit with many boxes.
