Makes sense! I suppose it’s what works for the children as long as it translates into good retention of knowledge and smooth transition to KS3!

2/2 then when we move to our transition topic, we focus specifically on verb conjugation and other grammar aspects ready for KS3. Our children at this point feel more confident to know the verb endings without the pronoun.. and that’s where we talk about emphasis etc 🙂

This is one of our Year 5 classes 🙂 and your question is a question we deliberated over for a long time! In the end, we found although it doesn’t need to be included, it helped the children initially process the pronoun and conjugated verb… 1/2

We use this at Primary School Level! EPI activities have majorly transformed our lessons. 🙌🏼
