Highly enjoyable, as always. Love that “nasal voice” is a Janus word; need to add that to the list.

Biblical Hebrew uses “nose” (אף) idiomatically as an emotional center (presumably from its link to breathing)

“yichar af” / “nose burning” = “anger”
“erech apayim” / “extended nose” = “patience”
