Was gonna say there isn't anything better as an academic than finally hitting 'submit' on a publication...then remembered there is: receiving the words 'accepted without revision' (not that I would be familiar with THAT particular feeling, LOL!). Anyhow, it still feels great to submit an article :)

Today, just over a week before flying to the UK, I have shifted out of sheer panic about giving 5 presentations on 3 topics at 2 conferences to more calm certainty that I will be able to get it done. Honestly, what kind of idiot does this to themselves? #academiclife (dontaskaboutthemarking)

At our Liverpool Campus for the first time today. Seems nice! However when I asked my Google Home for the weather in Liverpool last night it gave me the results for Liverpool UK, not Liverpool, Sydney 🤣That would have been a bit far to go for one day!!!!
