After a few months of practice, I finally made a ring that is fully my design from conception to finish. I feel proud of it and excited about where you find yourself when you put in the time.

It's possible that I will never stop crying about Cyrus. I wrote about him and I cried about him, again. And so it will go on for a little bit longer. Miss you so very much buddy.

From writing to discover its essence, to sketch, to paper prototyping, to metal — I'm excited to see where this one goes.

Every piece I'd made has been a tribute to Cyrus, but this one is especially so. It is an extension of our shared memories.

Broke my first wax ring today and I'm proudest of seeing it as a milestone. I'm in the game!

Last night I finished my 4th ring.

One thing I didn’t expect to gain was creative confidence. Having a vision from putting a piece of stone against my skin to a realized polished piece. I can make dreams come true. I just did.
