This is so true! Even more so if you have more limited play time so there are some breaks between sessions. I completely forget about certain systems that were quickly introduced at a time when I couldn't explore them further!

Exactly! I can start to imagine how tough it must be these days. Even just showing up with a pack of drinks and a snack is not a small monetary commitment, but was a given in the early 00s for 'hangouts'. Never mind transportation, etc. I don't blame people at all for choosing some online subs.
