Love: my wife and all of our family, Leeds United, Guster, The Yankees, and a nice game of golf.
You know, this week I’ve been trying not to take Amps for granted. He’s going to grind for the full 90 unless there’s a very specific tactical switch required, as on Saturday. And even then, he was so invested from the bench, shouting out help in the last few minutes. He was great v. Chelsea.

I’ve got to tell you, as a Canadian Leeds supporter, this is a real conflict. He clearly wasn’t the right person to follow Mr. Bielsa, but I really want Canada to be successful next summer.

I was really hoping for Elliott. Solid player, and he handled the Pascal/injury issue with tremendous character.

I agree. I thought KD gave the boss just enough of a reason to make the switch back if he’s so inclined. Nothing remotely egregious, just opened the door.

Perri for you, or no?

I really hoped it would happen at the time, and I hadn’t even properly seen his sides play. He seems to really be able to make players better.

What I guess we were hoping Paixao would be, though I’m not sure if he’s played yet in France.

Ned Ryerson????

As a Canadian who also loves Leeds, I still have to root for him to do well.

I’m a Canadian with 3 footy mad friends. 6 years ago, they told me to pick a team. I said, ok, Leeds it is. No oil money, Bielsa…I’ll give it a go. Now I fall asleep/work out/cut grass to TSB and IER. I paid for games on LUTV when I had to. MOT is framed in my basement. I’m in with both feet…

We’re in Ontario. Your brother lives in a beautiful part of the world.

I pay so I can keep up with things from Canada, but if Graham left, I’d be hard pressed to keep up.

I do think MB is one of the rare coaches who can take players already at this level and teach them skills to become better offensively. More than just tactics…

It seems terribly negligent. DF will have to try his best to coach them up, but how many MBs are out there who know how to make already professional footballers technically better? I imagine that’s a big part of why Patrick Bamford called Bielsa the best manager he’s played for ‘by a mile’.

I posted about that yesterday, and I’m watching from Canada!😂

International feed in Canada is Martin Tyler and Bridgey. Vastly preferable. #lufc

I literally said that to my wife after 15 minutes…

We’ll add guys, but that’s a team I’ll be very happy to root for.
