Hi, it does impact assets held offshore. That’s precisely what the removal of non-dom status does. It won’t impact a billionaire if they then decide to move elsewhere as a result tho (because they’ll cease to be a U.K. tax payer).

I don’t think she’s lost the plot. It’s more cynical than that. Her choice is to disappear or grift into some sort of conspiracy theorist and hope she can make a few quid that way. She’s always been a grifter and willing to change her position to do whatever feathers her own nest.

So maybe £110k (Family and Asylum) or 13% that might get certain types wound up.
Study routes accounted for 42%
Work routes accounted for 39%
Family routes accounted for 9%
Asylum routes accounted for 4%

I do agree. I wish the facts were clearer and more available . To be transparent though that legal migration number needs to be broken out somehow - asylum seekers, work based visa immigration, etc. The far right lives in the darkness. Transparency and light is needed

Maybe. We’re not talking war crimes here though and I not at all convinced this lot won’t win. I’m not American but from here it look like this is what the majority actually want. US as a whole seems quite content with far right autocracy. Sorry if that’s insensitive. I sympathise and fear for you.
