Still very different from a game mechanic that encourages you to accept death at any opportunity. I don’t mind one or two in a campaign, but Age of Umbra had 3 in 8 episodes. Hard to connect to the protagonists at that rate.

I think people are also miss the fact that death is much more common in DH, but character connection and development are a big part of the success of the long campaigns. Fans cosplay their favorites, after all. Hard to imagine that happening kid each player burns through 7-10 PCs…
