Lovely day in the studio prepping a few paintings to head to a home in San Francisco next week.

I use water pulled from the air to create my paintings. I work with acrylic paint that gets thinned down and applied in layers, so each piece requires a lot of water. During the warm humid months I collect water through a dehumidifier and use it throughout the year in the studio.

It’s only 6° out where I am this morning, so dreaming of the American west. For my northern friends, what do you do to keep warm and your mood fresh during our cold, dark winters?
