But then Vance will govern and you think he's any better? It still doesn't kill the idea. That requires real work. Education. Organizing. Folks who did anything other than voting for Harris accepting their role in this current timeline, and moving on. Harris voters, moving on. Dig in or get out.

Laws require a 2/3 majority to pass in both House and Senate and - again - there are no Rs who have interest in protecting our democracy, as made clear by their falling in line w/Trump since 2016. And even then SCOTUS can strike it down. And it was packed with right leaning folks in his last term.

As to your idea of un-aliving someone, don't know if you've heard of Lincoln or JFK but those guys would tell you yes, a citizen CAN do that. Don't recommend it. It still doesn't actually solve the problem. Otherwise fascism would've died with Mussolini and Hitler. And 👀👀👀

But it's not. Especially since SCOTUS's ruling on presidential immunity last year. Congress can bring up articles of impeachment - which they did twice the last time he was around - but it requires more votes than Dems have currently, and there's a deplorable lack of spines on the right.

Considering Dems have no power right now, outside of protest that they are using, what's your actual solution to the problem? All you've done is complain and try to be right in the convo about past issues you can't change. So what do we do? Enlighten us.
