I am honored to have edited this Nature paper!
I'm very excited that this review on scalable neuromorphic hardware, headed up by Dhireesha Kudithipudi, has finally come out in Nature🧪🧠🤖

Neuromorphic hardware is ready for prime time. There are things to keep advancing, but I think the bigger opportunities lie in how we use it!
Neuromorphic computing at scale
Nature - Approaches for the development of future at-scale neuromorphic systems based on principles of biointelligence are described, along with potential applications of scalable neuromorphic...

I copy edited this paper from Nature Computational Science! 🧪
We have a News and Views in Nature Computational Science with a back of envelope estimate on how expensive whole brain neural simulations can be. 🧠🧪

Long story short... very very expensive

This maybe ends up behind a pay wall (sorry ...), but check it out!

On the path toward brain-scale simulations - Nature Computational Science
Today’s high-performance computing systems are nearing an ability to simulate the human brain at scale. This presents a new challenge: going forward, will the bigger challenge be the brain’s size or i...

I'm so sad that my son's middle school only had 10 kids participate in the spelling bee this year. One year, his school just forgot to have one! He really has a gift (like his mom)! I don't want to hear one more person say, "Well, you can just use spell check now."
