It’s not at all that I’m an enthusiastic paywall warrior. I don’t personally have the solution. But we weren’t paid sustainably long before that model entered the picture. It just got on my last nerve this week.

I broke my very long personal ban on arguing on the internet (or at least commenting) this week when a friend started going off about paywalls (for the place I write the most). Man, if you want to talk about the quality of my work, let’s hear it. Otherwise I’m sorry you think I should work for free.
