He may have like 2 months or so unless a tumor bursts (typical way dogs with this go). There is no warning with a burst.
So I will see how he is doing tomorrow once all the effects wear off and make some choices

1-Add different pain meds
2-Localized radiation for hip
3-Chemo
4-eastern supplements
Going to do 1 and 4
Not going to do 2 because it needs anesthesia
Going to research 3 & discuss further. Would not give him more time but could slow spread/risk

Happy 11th birthday to the BEST dog! Opus loves everyone he meets (except those darn squirrels)! His infectious Roo spreads joy wherever he goes. He loves to cuddle and play and roach. He thinks every open door is an invitation for him to visit.

Opus just had his stitches out today and he’s doing fantastic (and cone-free!)
Pathology came back and it was caused by a melanocytoma. The cancer was contained in the eye so removal actually removed all the tumor as well.
He has a great bill of health going into his 11th birthday on Thursday
