Mosaiciclista: because every mountain biker deserves their moment in tile. Rugged, radiant, and ready to ride.

Just stumbled upon photos on my phone of the mosaic garden at Casita Miro on Waiheke Island, New Zealand - and suddenly, I’m back there, tiles in hand, sea breeze in my hair. This was my first big mosaic adventures abroad, and seeing it now feels like opening a time capsule made of colour and grout.

Created in a blur of deadline panic and tile dust. Proof that pressure makes diamonds… or at least quirky mosaic furniture.

Sometimes the loudest voice in the room isn’t the wisest - it’s just loud. The confidence doesn’t need to shout, and true expertise doesn’t beg for approval. Still, people might question your choices, your path, your talent. That’s okay. Let them. You know what you know. That’s your power.

I’ve been mentally preparing for the upcoming mosaic workshop in Moclín - dreaming up small projects for guests to explore and imagining the larger mosaic we’ll bring to life for Moclín’s mural. This is what we created last time ♥️

Tried to fit #PopGalgo into the car boot - failed spectacularly. Turns out, mosaics don’t do 'compact.' Now I have a logistical puzzle to solve… but at least the lighting was nice for a photo. Where there’s a will, there’s a (very creative) way!

I probably don’t need more distractions right now - life with a baby under one already feels like more than enough. But Instagram is instagramming, and I could use a detox. So here I am, peeking into the world of Bluesky. Let’s see what happens.
