The thing with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission’s re-licensing the Diablo nuclear plant is they don’t know whether it would survive an earthquake from the active thrust fault directly underneath it. This clip is from last week’s meeting of the Diablo Canyon Independent Safety Committee.
