Oh ugh. My house is torn apart getting long overdue repairs, I have a horrible head cold, my yard is full of leaves, my sons have moved away. Thank gosh for cats.

Well, I'm officially ALONE now. Steve died in July, but at least my older son lived right down road. My boys have taught me where to squirt the starter fluid when the tractor won't start, check the fuel oil level, and do techy stuff. Now he's moved to Columbus, to live his dream. I'm a cat lady now.

Very pretty morning. Sun is shining, my kitties are finally friends again, deer are grazing outside, I saw my first dark eyed junco of the season.
I wish Steve was here to share it with me, and that he was strong and healthy, so I could lean on him, because I hurt my knee really badly yesterday.
