They couldn’t chance that Trump would stay on target so put Vance there to agitate. Even then Trump went off topic ranting about Hunter in the bathroom and bedroom. He really can’t focus but he can still bluster so I guess that is what he will be used for.

What happened today was a character litmus test. Anyone who watched those two weak-willed Kremlinists—Trump and Vance—and thought they were great is a human of low moral character. If it wasn’t _clear_ to a given viewer who the _hero_ in that room was—and how he was abused—that viewer is a disgrace.
